hi,
Having just bought a Transplate harness and aluminium bp, I think the bp is sitting a bit too low on my back.
I'm not really shure how to adjust that. So far I have figured out that size adjustment can be made on the schoulder straps, however not shure exactly how. The Transplate assembling guide talks about that passing the webbing through the top or bottom on the shoulder pads , makes the harness size. A bit confusing I would say, but again,my english is not top standard.
Hope for any advise before I try remaking the harness once more:)

Hi,

You might want to look at our TransPlate assembly videos on Dive Rite TV. Dive Rite TV channel, diving videos, dive gear videos, training videos: Dive RIte Scuba

If you look under the channel "Gear Configuration" for TransPlate - How To Assemble the Shoulders, I think it might help illustrate how to weave the shoulders a bit tighter. You should be able to touch the top of your backplate when you put your arms behind your back, as a reference for correct position.

Best,
Kathleen

Hi,
Ok thanks. I've looked through the video and he mentions that the metal slide on the shoulder pad is the adjustment point. Now, it seems if I adjust the shoulder pads to sit closer to the backplate on the webbing, the only result is that the shoulder pads and D-rings is moving higher up on my shoulders. The backplate stays in the same position and that is approx 2 inches lower than I can reach .
I wonder if I should have ordered the L size harness instead of the XL ?

regards
Ulrik
