Recently ordered a Dive Rite transpac, was hoping I could use it for tech diving. Did I screw up? somebody please help!

should be ok for Tech if you have a hard plate and don't plan on a DIR class.

I use my transpac for tech diving all the time. Use it with doubles and rebreather carrying multiple stages. No problem

If you ordered the one I think you did... it may not be so well suited. It does not come with or use a plate, and there are so damned many buckles and clips, and sliding doodads its a joke. It has all the crap of a jacket bc but it looks "strappy" I've had to assemble a few of them and to be honest, weaving a hog setup is a hell of a lot easier! I know people who dive them and love them (especially now with the easily adjustable sholder straps...) but I think they are great for rec diving.
