First of all. I got a transpac and I know that almost all the members of SB would encourage me to drop the tranpsac and go with a true b/p, but for now Im happy with the transpac and will keep it around a while. I do have a question about my transpac.

If in the future I decide to go to a SS backplate I can buy the stainless steel back plate, (and if I dove singels after that would need the single tank adapter) off dive rite and it should work perfect with the harness I have for the transpac correct? Looking at my transpac and the picture of the stailess steel plate online it looks to me like it should be a pretty easy conversion if I decide to go that way in the future.

Furthermore, if I chose to go with an aluminum backplate I could just get the aluminum backplate and it would convert over no problem even without a single tank adapter for singles correct?

I have a TransPlate and when it came in the mail it had the wrong size harness so one day rigtht after I was visiting a dealer and the guy was nice enough to swap out harnesses for me. I happened to be traveling so he wasnt anyywhere near me to start with.

Point is....he only had a TransPac harness and it works fine. And, I dont use a STA.
