About 2 years ago one of my students bought a transducer/transponder set that aids him in returning to the anchor line. I never thought about that again until last night when I got home from a garage sale where I bought a box-o scuba stuff for $120...

In it were 2 complete ScubaPro Octos, one with an air computer, a barely used scubapro BC, 35# of lead in a belt, 2 knives, some trashed fins (looks like the users kicked every piece of coral in the ocean) a few lights, wetsuits/rash guards/hoods and three little techie toys...

One of them I have identified as a Dive Scan...a fairly useless personal sonar tool but the others are these transponder/receiver pair of things that I am looking to get more info on (so as to best price them for sale...)

Do any of you remember what these are called?
