The Anthony's Key Resort website says they don't provide beach towels, but you can purchase them at the gift shop.

We like to travel compact & light and beach towels are bulky.

Anyone know what the cost for beach towels at the AKR gift shop?

We were at AKR in April. We did not pack beach towels thinking we would buy 2 there . . . They were $25 in the gift shop. We opted to not buy them.
We had a fabulous trip and plan to go back next year!

As a dive guide,I lived/worked on all the Bay Islands for a couple of years. Good luck on that laying on the beach..... Say "HOLA" to the punkie midgets for me!

Thanks to all for the info. $25--will take our own.

Already have the micro cloth towel for the dive boat, was thinking taking something a bit softer for use on the lounge chaires (not planning to be on the sand with the critters!)

Found a couple of thinner terrycloth towels to take with us.

We are back and had a great time. But we did get a surprise--they DO have beach towels at the resort!! They are available for check-out at the pool area, must not leave the pool area, and must be checked back in (otherwise a charge is made). This is exactly what we needed--never used the thinner terrycloth towels we took with us. Sure wish the AKR website made mention of this!!
