Are p-valves hard to use. I got a new one and seem to have a problem with possible presser.. need advice.

Most of us do not pee while involved in other activities...

We are usually standing there in a relaxed state...

So to use a p-valve it is often necessary to stop all activity...

However with practice you can train yourself to go while doing other things such as swimming, scootering, ect... it just takes training and hard work to reach this pinnacle of diving ability.

In the mean time you might want to practice above water during your daily routine using depends.

This new skill wasn't covered in my classes.....is there a DIR peeing skill in the DIRF class?:jester: lol

This new skill wasn't covered in my classes.
... this is an advanced skill and should not be attempted by BOW/ AOW divers... the risks are just too great.

TIP #1: Once you have installed a p-valve in your suit and have started using it... use one every dive. The first dive you get lazy and forego the plumbing ritual will be memorable if you remember and even more memorable if you forget.

TIP #2: Once you start training to go on the go using depends... keep using them... the day you get lazy and head to work without them... well...
