I've been trying to locate any of the Total Immersion books, but after searching amazon, it appears they are all out of print. We're leaving on vacation at the end of this week, and I was hoping to have something to read on the plane, but it appears that all the Terry Laughlin titles will take one to four weeks to ship. Any other options by Terry or anyone else? Thanks everyone!

I guess if you really want it, you can call and have it Fedex to you.

www.totalimmersion.net - I ordered mine directly from them. The title of the book you want is "Swimming Made Easy: The Total Immersion Way for Any Swimmer to Achieve Fluency, Ease, and Speed in ANY Stroke"

-Frank

lol, the total immersion books are alright, i competivley swam for a long time(about 8 years) so i am fairly technically good with swimming, so when i train for tri's and we do total immersion drills its really monotonous for me, but teaching swimming lessons for a few years, made me appreciate the books because they area good for what they are.

Thanks for the info Chris. I take it from your comment, "I guess if you really want it..." you're not a big fan?

Was that if you really wanted it for your trip.

The Total Immersion program(s) have helped me and other I know.

I have both TI and the Freestyle DVD.

Sorry for the confusion.

Chris

Gotcha. That's good to hear, since the stuff's going to be here today. Basically, I just wanted something useful to read on the plane and in the airports.

This whole conversation thing would be a lot easier if we were all sitting in a bar....
