I just got certified and have been an advid diver here in the cold waters of Maine. I just found out I may be moving to Toronto for a year or more and was wondering what the diving is like in the area. Drive times, depths, temps, what to see and where. Just trying to get some info to make moving easyier

Humber Bay. 40 ft max , never freezes , next to a sewage plant. Vis 0-70ft downtown Toronto.

Most spectacular diving is located within 1.5-3 hours. Tobermory, Kingston, Brockville, Niagara Peninsula those have spectacular wrecks. The vis and conditions depend upon the location. The river is very warm in Brokville during summer time. The lakes are mostly cold at depths. 38-45 even during summer time. Dry suit is very recommended if you plan to cover all aspects of those locations. The river is doable in 5 min in summer.
