I'm going to Mozambique in the first week of March. After doing some research, I'm planning on going to the Tofo/Barra area. Is this a good choice if you were going to only one place in Moz? I'd hate to think that I made it all the way to Mozambique and missed out on some other primo destination.
Assuming that Tofo/Barra is the place, any recommendations on lodging? From researching the board, Barra Reef Lodge and Barra Lodge seem to be where to go. Any others? In terms of diving, is one location better than the other? Also, is it difficult to get between Tofo and Barra? Is renting a 4WD recommended? Any other suggestions?
