Actually Mark has a rather uncanny ability to find them where ever he goes.

That diving looks incredible. I was I was out there. Where in BC is that? Is it in Victoria? Is it a shore dive?

Dolphin beach is a shore dive. It is located just north of Nanoose Bay which is between Nanaimo and Parksville (where all the best Island shore dives are). Make sure you only dive it on a high tide though (12+ ft) because it is very rocky and hard to climb over with dive gear.

The ones with the kelp in them are pretty close to the beach. The main part of the dive (the wall) where my strobe quit and I didn't really get any pictures is about a 5-10 minute swim out.

It's not hard up around Nanoose where there seems to be at least one or two everywhere you get in the water.
