I took the new Nikon 105mm Macro out for the first time this morning, and here's a couple of the pics.

The first piccy is a Black Faced Blenny, but I haven't a clue what the second creature is - has anyone got any ideas?

It looks like some kind of Chiton. They are mollusks. Same family as snails, slugs, octopi, squid, etc.
 
Actually, that's a pretty cool photo! I have never seen a chiton that's free like that, they are normally welded to a rock.

I think the only reason i'd spotted it was because it stuck out like a sore thumb on the sand!!
