Photographer and model dive to unbelievable depths for underwater photoshoot

Steven Haining and his model Ciara Antoski caused quite the comm-ocean when they decided to deep dive into history, diving 21 feet (6.40 metres) below the surface of the Fathom Five National Marine Park for the deepest underwater model photoshoot.

That story has been around for years... Nobody around here has ever heard of the guy. The shots are kinda dull, and the best part of the entire shoot has more to do with water temperature than anything...
My only connection is that a few of us hoisted the deck of that little ship, and put some retaining rods through the hull to cinch it back together before plopping the deck back down. The Park put those cages in to keep divers from going under the deck. The bubbles really corrosive.

I haven't dove the Sweepstakes in years. I sat in my boat while Becky Kagen shot it, and years before that, I lent my Missus to Jill Heinerth who made this spiffy image of her. Oddly, I was at Ocean Quest in Newfoundland last week, and they had a print of this image in their kitchen!
