I have a titan lx supreme reg which is environmentally sealed (it is the higher end titan reg but not the legend model). Can I use this safely on a faber HP100 tank. It looks like they come with DIN/yoke convertible valves? I "think" the titan yoke is tested to 3500psi safely and that the faber tanks are like 3440 or something like that. If this is ok...what if the faber tank was overfilled for whatever reason to say 3600psi. Is my reg now in danger? would you simply let air out of tank until below 3500 again? I am saving for a DIN setup...just curious. Thanks.

Why not just convert to DIN? The conversion is only about $40 for the Titan, if I remember correctly. (I just bought one for my brother's kit a year or so ago.) Then add a yoke adapter when you need yoke.

The Titan LX will be fine. N

I was wondering if it would work for a dive coming up this weekend which will likely happen before I convert everything over.

You won't have a problem, have never seen a yoke fail even at much higher pressures. But agree that if your tanks are convertible to DIN that would be the way to go. If you use Aqualung din conversion kit it will cost a lot more than $40.

just a heads up though, the Titan LX supreme uses the same din conversion kit as the Legend.
