I have a titan LX, and I've noticed on the last few dives that every once in a while in the beginning of the dive the regulator will make a funny nose/feel when I breath off it.

I can't really explain if it's a sound or a vibration, but it feels almost like a flutter as I inhale, and it usually goes away after a few min. The best way I can describe it is a "vurrrrrrrr" sound. The reg breaths just fine the whole time.

Anyone experienced this or know what it might be? Should I have it checked out?

I noticed on my ScubaPro second stage that before i go under the water while on surface it will do it.
But after i go under it quits.
If it does it while you are diving i would get it adjusted.

Is it doing this on the inhalation only?

This is usually caused by the diaphragm fluttering, and goes away in the water. I would have it checked out and serviced if it is due.

The lever could be too low, cracking adj.off, diaphragm not seated properly or deformed, IP too high or creeping.......

Yes, only on inhalation. And it usually stops midway through the dive, or I just stop noticing it. I think I'll take it in just to be on the safe side. The reg is less than a year old, and always washed thoroughly in fresh water after diving.
