Timed Out after five minutes after logging in

My desktop requires me to log in after even five minutes of not posting.

My laptop stays logged in perpetually. Anyone want to clue me in?

Have you removed all cookies on both machines?

You have to click remember me when logging in from each computer.

I think it's probably someone who works for the government is pulling some strings, because they think you spend too much time on SB.
