I fear once more my name has been dragged through the mud. Yes of course after a drive down from Orlando i wanted to start the weekend off right, by diving my face off rather than having a drink. Although i dont mind socialising over a drink, i was up for diving the whole weekend! Everything still went fine, didnt do the 12 dives in the weekend i was hoping for, but 9 was a good start.

Becky, sorry about the tanks, but you did offer and they did come in useful.

You're welcome, of course! Besides, having the tanks in my possession would not have saved me from a weekend of manicures, pedicures and babysitting in Tallahassee. I was doomed to be on dryland. But...you better believe I will make up for it during the remainder of my August weekends.

And i will do my best to facilitate that this weekend in the caverns, next weekend in the keys, then rinse and repeat caverns the following weekend and SE FL (Chick dive for you, beach diving the rest of the time for us) on Labor day weekend, you too can have 90+ min bottom times with dives like that!

BTW, i cant think much more than 4 weekends ahead at a time, i dont know what is an option in september, except NC in october and SW FL when my mum is over at the oct/nov cusp...... mmmm thinking what more can be done, i believe more keys stuff in the fall from Homestead and more cheap/free shore diving in the SE or in the caverns to make the most use of our new certs and limited funds.

Geesh, just saw this post. Simon why didn't you say you wanted to go diving? Of couse you could of *cough, cough* called in a lilttle sick and showed up a bit earlier. I was ready.....an waiting.....sigh...
