Thinking of selling My selling my ;
Sea & Sea DX-1G,
Spare Oring and grease pack
Wide angle lens,
Sea & Sea aluminum base stay and single handle (with dovetail adapter, short arm and clamp),
Wide angle lens holder (Mounted on the base stay- opposite side of handle)
2 x Sea & Sea YS-110 Strobes (but only 1 optical cable and no strobe adapters or clamps)
What can I sell it for? interested in offers but no strong commitment to sell yet. I have upgraded to a D300 and Sea and Sea gear for it. DX1G was a backup and perhaps a snorkelling rig....but it is just not seeing any use. I have no more than 28 dives on it although the Strobes have seen about 40 on one and 60 on another. All are in excellent shape.
This is a great camera to start off with if interested in UW photography with full manual control.... for those who want to go beyond souviner shots and actual keepers they can frame.
Keep in mind that you will still need to mount that 2nd strobe (via another handle, clamp and adapters) and get another optical cable for it.
All together, I have spent almost $2700 on it. I am willing to part with it for a reasonable offer considering I hardly use it at all these days.
