Day 1: Cape Town International Airport. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the lodge in Gansbaai [+/- 2hours]. Your accommodation is in an upmarket lodge overlooking the ocean. The accommodation is available as single, twin or double occupancy [depending on your requirements]. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge or at one of the local restaurants. Overnight Gansbaai, South Africa.
Day 2: Great White Cage Diving at Dyer Island -- Overnight Gansbaai, South Africa.
After breakfast, head for Kleinbaai [+/-5mins] where you board the boat and head for Dyer Island. A 20-minute boat ride gets you to the islands and Shark Alley where the anchor is dropped, and your adventure begins.
During the day you will have a number of opportunities to view the Great White Sharks from the boat as well as from the safe confines of the cage. During the day you will also have a chance to cruise past the island to get an up close view of the 50000+ seals that live on the islands. A truly amazing experience!

Day 4: Breakfast, Spend the morning relaxing & then depart Gansbaai.
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, spend the morning relaxing before departing Gansbaai for Cape Town International Airport. Fly to Durban.Day 1 : Arrive Durban International Airport -- Transfer to & Overn
When you arrive at Durban International Airport [KSIA / DUR] or other pick-up points available as required, we will meet you and transfer you to our accommodation, ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre which is situated in the diving town of Umkomaas about 80km south of the Durban International Airport and about 50kms south of the city of Durban.
When you arrive at the dive lodge, you will be checked into your room, spend the day relaxing on the beach or around the pool and get to meet the team. In the late afternoon we will give you a briefing about the shark diving at the Aliwal Shoal, Protea Banks & the Tiger Shark Diving that you will experience during SharkWEEK South Africa.

Day 5 : Shark Diving Aliwal Shoal - [2 x Shark Dives] -- Overnight ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre.
We meet for breakfast before moving down to the on-site dive centre to kit-up and prepare for the diving.
Today the shark diving takes place on the Aliwal Shoal in South Africa. The first dive will give you a chance to get your dive gear & weights sorted out. The Aliwal Shoal is rated as one of the best dive sites in the world for shark diving and we aim to show you as many species of shark as possible including Tiger Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Oceanic Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Guitar Sharks & Whitetip Reef Sharks. After the diving we return to the dive lodge where there are hot showers and a secure wet-room to store your gear, ready for the next days shark diving. Day 6 : Shark Diving Aliwal Shoal - [2 x Shark Dives] -- Overnight ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre.
We meet for breakfast before moving down to the dive centre to kit-up and prepare for the diving. The diving starts with a launch from the Umkomaas river or beach depending on the dive sites and tide. Enjoy two more shark dives on the various dive sites of the Aliwal Shoal, looking for the different shark species found on the reefs of the Aliwal Shoal in South Africa as well as the huge variety of other marine life including Whales, Dolphin, Turtles, Manta Rays, Devil Rays, Eagle Rays, Ribbontail Rays, Moray Eels, Game Fish, many species of reef fish & more. Day 7: Shark Diving Protea Banks - [2 x Shark Dives] -- Overnight ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre.
This morning we head 45-minutes down the coast to dive the Protea Banks, offshore from Shelly Beach. Protea Banks is situated about 7.5km out to sea from Shelly Beach. The depth of Protea Banks is between about 26-meters & 40-meters with our dives generally being to about 30-meters.
Protea Banks is approx. 6km long and 800m wide and is one of the best shark diving sites in the world for diving with Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Tiger Sharks and a variety of other sharks including Ragged Tooth Sharks, Oceanic Blacktip Sharks & Guitar Sharks as well as a huge diversity of game fish [tuna etc.] and loads of other marine-life. Day 8 : 1 x Shark Dive -- 1 x baited Tiger Shark Dive -- Overnight ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre.
Today we travel south of the Aliwal Shoal to some of the best pelagic shark diving sites. The first dive will be on a deeper reef with the main aim of getting up close and personal with Tiger Sharks, Oceanic Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Dusky Sharks & more. Guaranteed Sharks or Diving is FREE
The next dive will be your first chance to experience our baited Tiger Shark Dive. The baiting can take an hour or more [depending on the Tiger Sharks]. We create an odour corridor to attract the Tiger Sharks. Once the Tiger sharks arrive we enter the water to dive with the sharks, observing the sharks in their natural enviroment.
Before the Tiger Shark Dive, we will give a full briefing to help you to understand their behaviour and how we behave in return. Tiger Sharks are very shy, they are also very inquisitive and intelligent animals which is why they are one of the ocean's apex predators and deserve the highest respect.

Today is our final day of shark diving during SharkWEEK South Africa and the diving will end on a highlight being a full day of Shark Diving & baited Tiger Shark Diving.
The shark diving will be on the reefs to the south of the Aliwal Shoal, rated as one of the best dive sites in the world for shark diving and we aim to show you as many species of shark as possible including Tiger Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Oceanic Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Guitar Sharks & Whitetip Reef Sharks. transfer to St. Lucia Wetlands Reserve, set in the heart of Zululand, this is a world heritage site and home to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest game reserve in Africa, established in 1895. Day 11 : Full Day Game Safari in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi -- Overnight St. Lucia Wetlands Reserve, South Africa.
An early rise for a fully guided open-vehicle safari in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve. The reserve is home to Africa's 'Big 5', lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and the black and white rhino. You will have breakfast and lunch within the reserve. Viewing areas overlook pans and waterholes enabling you to observe Africa's wildlife at close range.
