We are blessed with some of the best world class technical diving close to our big city life . The Matterhorn is the name of this seamount with the most spectular reef diving off the west coast of North America . Lying 130 feet deep and 20 nautical miles off shore across Santa Barbara channel . The pinnacle is named for it extremely sharp profile and the walls are covered with immense concentrations of invertebrates found on the West Coast of the USA . Descending the pinnacle you come to focus the bright red , orange and purple anemones . Illuminating the landscape cotinuing the descent the coral never get less in fact grow in color and size the deeper you go with red mixed with yellow , whites , purples and white metridiums annd scallops the size of large dinner plates !!! Thankyou Progressive Dive Institute and Eric Maiken , The Santa Barbara Alps. Have a nice day. Rumdumb
