Isn’t this why you folks typically head up north to Hood Canal or head to some lakes?

This is why most Oregonians drive north to dive in the Hood Canal, Tacoma or head to one of the Cascade Lakes-- like Clear Lake or any number of lakes in Central Oregon near Bend.

Moving to La Pine next year. Going to try some of that Lake diving but am worried about the water temp. Dive so cal wet now, down to mid 50s.

Clear Lake is supposed to be really amazing. But also amazingly cold.

Meah. . . I'll take limited vis and salt water every time. Sorry to you inland types, fresh water is boring

You are going to be very isolated from diving if moving to La Pine. Apart from diving, it is a lovely place to live though- pretty much COVID free at the moment and has some charm.
