I'm a Fish!
The New Caledonian lagoon was recently placed on the World Heritage list by UNESCO. Most people don't realise that our barrier reef is almost as long the GBR in Australia yet relatively undived. The lagoon is one of the biggest in the world with an incredible diversity. This is great news for the dive operators and for nature lovers in general as our local government now has a serious obligation to protect our environment. I am including a couple of photos which were taken during a regular dive out of Noumea on the 19th of december. It was a great xmas present which I would have loved to share with all of my diver friends.
