I have a crotch strap installed on my jetharness. The problem seemed to be me wearing my weight belt on the outside of the crotch strap. I put on my weight belt then the jetharness and all seems well. I think it was just pushing the whole assembly up on my back and hence hitting the back of my head. Problem solved.

If I understand your current setup with the crotch strap it seems like it would be difficult to ditch the weight belt - unless you have ditchable weight pockets on your belt. I am planning to add a crotch strap to my Jet Harness but hadn't really thought of this possible complication.

Chuck,
I also thought that it was a conflict having the belt under the crotch strap. I did a little research and found the the "DIR" method is weight belt OVER the strap when diving WET and UNDER the strap when diving DRY. (Not that I advocate all DIR procedures) I dive Dry and Semi-Dry.... but thinking into it, I would not want to just casualy ditch my weights, I believe that I would have to try and get my wits about me as best I could before deciding on ditching my weights. It is only one buckle to undo the crotch strap, and the people I dive with know about it.

I guess it is a personal call and folks could debate this to death... litterly! So I just do what I do and go about my diving.

Jim
