I used it on about 20 dives now. I used it on and off to look at creatures on the wall and under the ledges on the day dives. It worked very well and bright enough. I did not have to recharge the battery a single time.
When I got home, I got to testing it in the tub to compare it to Nitescuba S12 which I used as a backup.
S12 looks brighter, but the central part of the D550 is more condensed. S12 went out after 1 hour of continuous use. D550 lasted for over 3 hours of continuous burn time.!I am very pleased with D550 performance. It is well made and I loved magnetic switch which is protected. It is easy to access but not easy to get bumped accidentally.
