They have to evict thousand of people just to satisfy a few with deep pocket!!!
Feed the Governor to the dragon first!
 
I saw the dragons on Rinca island and there didn't seem to be too many people and lots of dragons. No cruise ships or mass tourism that I could see.
 
The idea is to close only Komodo Island. Maybe for only one year. All still not in law yet.
 
Not an expert here - just a few-times tourist - but seems to me that there are many problems in Indo and Komodo with over-tourism and unmanaged development -- but loss of the dragon or dragon habitat doesn't seem to be one of the bigger problems -- I could be wrong...
