Hi all
Found this site a couple of nights ago and have spent hours reading. Thanks for all the great info.

I don't have much to contribute, I'm just a rudimentary snorkeler (with ready access to Ningaloo reef :)) who is contemplating taking the next step to OW certification.

Well I don't really know where the Ningaloo reef or Antipodes are...but welcome to the board!! Lots of great information and people here.
 
Ningaloo is NorthWest Australia and if you ever need a dive buddy and are willing to fly me over, I am your guy :D. Just kidding. I do hope you get to get your OW certification because you live in an area that is very suited to it and I believe you will get hooked immediately.

Have a search here for threads started by Alcina . . . She's a diver on the Ningaloo reef, and a fantastic photographer, with many beautiful shots posted here. If that doesn't give you the motivation to move up from snorkeling to diving, nothing will!
