Just finished my DSAT Tec Deep course with Master Divers and had a great time. Thanks to Wilco who was a very thorough yet patient instructor. And to Ayesha and Charlotte for helping me arrange the logistics making it a smooth trip. And to the boat boys and DMTs for lugging twinset around.
The diving was good, though the visibility was varied. The Satakut on one day was great vis, the next day after heavy rains down to only a few meters. I think it would have been more interesting if left the ship on the side, but the guns are the most interesting points now, and you can still turn the knobs and take a seat in the gunners chair for photos. Again, props to Master Divers for arrangeing our tec training dives to avoid the cluster f* at the popular dive sites. Why shops hit the same sites at the same time instead of staggering or rotating schedules is beyond me. My luck with whale shark remains the same, meaning it was at Chumpon pinnacle the day I wasn't there.
