If you were in Cozumel on the 30th, you may have noticed traffic was a little, uh, heavy in places.
I had a great race and put my day into words and pictures. Enjoy if you have a few minutes. Sorry about the length.

We spent the next week at Iberostar. Completely acceptable AI. Just wish it wasn't so far out of town. The pool was clean. The sun was hot. The food and drink was passable and plentiful.
Next trip I think I'll look for a condo in town, however.
I dove with Tres Pelicanos and I can't recommend them enough. The diving was great and the crew was awesome. They have the best boat I saw out there. If you are feeling a little rusty they are there for as much or as little as you need. The confident divers were given a tank of gas, weights, and a boat ride and picked up on the surface when they were through.
I also dove with Dressel, the in house op at the resort. Absolute circus at check in. 4 huge, slow cattle boats that were full every trip. Divemasters assigned buddy pairs and if you were low-ish on air they sent you up with the next lowest diver in couples. Expected you to stay behind him which meant drifting over sand for 30+ minutes of an hour long dive.
But why is it the ticket agents at the airport suddenly can't speak English when you tell them your checked bags are supposed to be free because you bought your tickets before the rates changed in April. Next time I'm driving to Mexico and taking the ferry over.
