Travelling for work in next couple of weeks and taking some additional time. Hoping to do a single day trip from Phuket with 2 or 3 dives. Any recommended operators, or other tips?

I was just in Phuket last month. It definitely was rainy season! I do not know if July has the same weather; best to look that up on the Internet. Just something to consider. Regardless, I HIGHLY recommend the Andaman Sea (off Phuket); the diving is spectacular!
I also recommend this operator: Phuket-scuba.com, owned by Steven L. (He is a frequent participant in Scuba Board discussions, in the Thailand forums.) Steven will match your skill/experience level to appropriate dive sites.
