Hello everyone, my name is Howard and I am the vegan soap dude. I am an SDI certified diver. I live inland and have only had a few opportunities to dive since becoming certified. Since I was a child, I knew I wanted to dive. I have always been in love with the water and all of its mysteries. I am currently looking into IDCs and am seriously considering Thailand next summer. My girlfriend and I will both be graduating after a very long time in the spring. She will teach English while I dive.

We have both traveled a lot. I lived and taught English in China for a year and traveled the Middle East for around the same amount of time. We have been to 20 countries in the past three years in Central and South America, spending about 8 months a year traveling. This year we have been focusing on finally graduating school so we can move on! We have both been taking classes for around 10 years.

After Thailand, I am looking into a graduate program at Texas A&M for nautical archaeology. My major for my undergrad will be anthropology, and I think that becoming an instructor will help me get into the program. I would love to hear from people who have done IDCs in Thailand for any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Peace,
-Howard
