What are you all doing with the lens cap for your TG series housings when you are diving? It comes tethered to the housing but when left hanging it is always getting in the way of the lens. I have tried wrapping it around the tray but it keeps comming undone.

I have a large Olympus system where the lens cap is large and there is no tether. My solution is to unzip my wetsuit top and slip it inside during the dive.

i hold it with my thumb against the casing. thinking about just getting rid of it. it barely stays on to begin with

A shark ate mine (literally) so I don't have that to worry about anymore.

I have always wrapped mine around the tray. What about using a piece of bungee / shock cord to hold it in place?

Mine hasn't taken a dip in the water yet, but what I decided to do was untether it from the housing and tie it to a small plastic clip instead. Before the dive, I'll clip it off on a BC D-ring and then I can put it back on the housing at the end of the dive. That's the theory anyway. We'll see how it well that works in practice.
