Going on a whale snorkeling trip. Thinking of taking my TG-6 and adding a Kraken KRL-02. Anybody used this combo for this purpose?
Alternative suggestions?

I have not, but man I hope you get some good stuff to share.

Have fun and good luck!!!

What kind of whales, do you know if they are fast moving? If it's going to be fast and frantic, maybe a GoPro set to collect videos and Stills at 1 or 2 second intervals could be a good choice. They take very good wide angle shots and have relatively good low light performance.

Does that Kraken lens need to be burped each time it goes under? Can you take photos from the boat with it on?
