I seen an ad for the DixieDiver's in an area called DeerField beach, Fl. They talked about a large amount of wreaks that one could dive. I never heard of this area of Florida and wonder what anyone can tell me about this area and this operator. Thanks

You have heard of the area, just not that particular city. Deerfield Beach is the northern most city in Broward County. Broward County is the home of Fort Lauderdale. Deerfield Beach is positioned so it's very easy to dive the sites in northern Broward County and the sites in southern Palm Beach County. The diving is excellent. Most of the reef dives are ledges. Currents are usually strong, so float diving is the rule. There are many, many excellent wrecks in the area. I highly recommend this area for diving. It's been a few years since I've dived with Dixie Divers, so I can't give you feedback on them, but I was diving the area on Saturday, it's well worth the trip and one of my favorite places to dive.

post this on the Florida Forum and I am sure you will get some responses.

Thanks Walter, I'd love to make the trip down there soon. I've got a real itch to get in the water again, being in Ohio we have to wait far too long to do that. Just need to find a dive buddy interested in making the trip. Thanks again.
