Hmm....just a quick read and I see that it uses bubble decompression....I think there are better, more inclusive deco software models out there. Just my 2 PSI.

I don't have any experience with this "Departure" software. I have to say I was not too pleased that it does not clearly indicate what actual model it follows or the data from which its authors concluded it was the better model. Additionally, the presentation site says the algorithm tends to produce deeper initial stops than VPM. As far as I know, current studies (http://www.dtic.mil/get-tr-doc/pdf?AD=ADA561618) indicate that shallower stops are more efficient.
