Advice please. My very old Posiedon bcd is about to be retired. My son has been diving a Zeagle for about 11 years - still going strong although very bleached. I am swinging between the Zeagle Tech and the Ranger. I dive a 15 litre steel tank, I weigh 88 kilos and use a 5 mm wetsuit, water temp here in my part of Oz ranges from 24degC in summer to 15 deg C in the depths of winter - dream on!

So which BCD do I go for. Any suggestions gratefully received. Does either have double cambands, its not clear from the literature? If not can it (they) be fitted with twin cambands?

cheers

Col

Both have double cam bands.

The Tech has fewer pockets and thingies as does the Ranger.

The Ranger has a cumberbun, the Tech doesn't.

I addition to what The K said, the Ranger has a 44 lb bladder and the Tech has a 65 lb bladder. The Tech has a small lumbar pad sewn in, and the Ranger has a full lumbar pad as an option.

You can go to our website and print out a pdf of each BC, and see if that helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,

Scott

Either way, you can't go wrong.
Sturdy stuff, with great support.
