Hi, I was wondering if some one can explain to me how to effectively use the auto/manual focus feature on my Light and Motion Bluefin housing. Am I wrong to assume that using the button on the hand grip to lock the autofocus will only lock it to the distance it was locked at.

My issue is when shooting footage at 80-120 feet of rays and sharks against a low contrast background the camera keeps seeking in an attempt to autofocus. If the critter is coming at me the focal distance is obviously changing which seems to negate the use of the autofocus lock.

I would be grateful if anyone can give me tips on how best to keep the camera from seeking in low light/low contrast settings where the subject matter is changing it's distance from the camera.

Thanks,

Steve
