Tropical Depression Forms in Caribbean

MIAMI (Nov. 14) - A tropical depression formed in the southeast Caribbean Sea and was expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Gamma on Monday, the National Hurricane Center said.

A new tropical depression is seen Monday in the southeast Caribbean Sea. The storm is not expected to pose a threat to the United States.

The storm, which formed Sunday, was expected to be south of Jamaica by the end of the week, over Caribbean waters still warm enough to feed a major hurricane, said hurricane specialist Stacy Stewart.

It is not expected to threaten the United States.

Could be one more hurricane for Central America, maybe?

yeah, it can go that way, the Gulf is already cool so odds are we arent going to get it. The passing of Wilma with the cold front behind it made a big change in our daily temps!!

Looks like TD27 may not have what it takes to become Gamma...?

And I just got the news - don't blame y'all at all.
