G'Day All...Have just purchased a new casing for an old camera (PS S1IS) to try underwater photography for 1st time...does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to get best pics & what are best Camera settings to achieve best results..Cheers!

New housing for an old camera?! Not something I would suggest doing, but now that you have it - enjoy it. Try video, too - when you have super viz and lighting. Set it on 640x480 for video and use the largest card your camera will accept. Then compress the clip on Windows Movie Maker. ;)

Welcome to the boards. They are extremely useful (and fun).

You might also check out Digidiver (DIGIDIVER :: Index). That is a message board devoted to underwater photography, and they have subforums on getting started.
