It's not hard to find kits to service tank valves. But the 2 main components that get the most wear are the 010 O-ring and the Teflon washer, at least for most of my valves, mostly an assortment of steel HP tank type and a few Thermos.

Anyone have a source for just the washer at a reasonable price? Done a bunch of searching but only come up with sizes that are wrong.
Should the O-ring be 90d? 70d too soft for HP (3500psi) tanks?

Did you try northeast scuba supply? I buy a lot of my valve kits there and the washers are under two bucks each.

I actually just ordered a number of kits from them. I was hoping for a cheap bulk source.
These washers have to be coming from somewhere for the valve kits.

If you have contact to a XS Scuba Dealer he might sell the washer to you separately.
Order Number: VP09 - Teflon Washer (Stem)
Dealer Price 1,00US$

Or you have contact to a Sherwood Dealer.
He might sell you the thick Teflon Washer separately:
Order Number:HSV-48-08 Thick Teflon O- Ring
Dealer price: 1,00 US$

That Sherwood Teflon Ring is a bit thicker than the Thermo one's, but it works as well.

Good luck!:)
