Does anyone know where to source a test valve block, for mounting a scuba valve on a benchtop for regulator testing and rebuilds? There's pictures of one in the Airspeed Press book on page 146, but I've been unable to find a source for these.

Peter Built (www.scubatools.com) does not have them, and GMC Scuba has them as part of complete test benches, but I could not find them listed individually for sale.

Old vis failed Scuba tank, cut off at the shoulder to make a tank stub.
Scuba valve, dip tube removed and that hole rethreaded to accept a tube fitting, usually 1/4"NPT in the states.

Weld a flat bar across the botom of the tank stub to mount it to the bench, or drill and tap the tank wall 3 places for screws to mount it to the bench from below. Run a tube from the bank to the valve through the bottom of the tan stub.

Part number 48060.

Let me know if you want one if you don't already have an account with Global.
