I have a Catalina AL S67. The maufacure date looks like 1988. I am trying to find specs on it. Bouyancy empty/full, etc. Can anyone help?
Thanx!

For those concernced that I don't have what I think I have, the markings are:
CTC DOT - 3AL3000 S67 M4002

Thanx again!

Robert

Might contact them directly as the 67 is no longer made:

Catalina Cylinders

BUt probaby a couple of pounds positive empty and a couple of pounds negitive full.

Most importantly ALL Catalina cylinders have been made with 6061 Al. So all you need is a std. visual and hydro (i.e NO eddy current test).

Picked up a batch of these tanks myself recently. Made 1996.

Called Catalina and they didn't have the information anymore. Rough numbers from a drawing the lady I spoke with found were-

S67

Buoyancy
3000 500 0
-4.4# -0.6# +0.6#

Tank Weight 32#

If anyone has an old Catalina tank spec sheet, can you post a copy please?
