Hi from Norway,

I am just a regular holiday diver, but have the last couple of months been playing with the idea of travelling to Honduras; Costa Rica and/or Belize to take a dive master course and then work as a dive master for a while. Is there anyone having similar experiences or is there anyone else able to share som information on other recommended places?

I am advanced diver, have about 50-100 dives at diffreent continents and feel so peacful when I am lucky enough to be able to enjoy the underwaterworld :) However, most dives have been at touristy places so I need to step up to this challenge :)

Honduras thumbs way up! I haven't been there in awhile last time at a resort that is now closed called Posada Del Sol. A little island no night life but the diving ... Ohhhh mannnnn.

Belize awsome just that ............. very awsome! Diving - night life - Maya everything - and did I say diving?

Utila offers factory DM'ing. IMO not very good experience. A friend has just been there and went through DM, OWSI, MSDT, IDCS in one go! He does recognise though that what he holds are relatively worthless cards.

I teach DM one-to-one over a minimum of three weeks, and am currently between students. But we have now entered a very quiet period down here, so you may not get to work with many divers.
