That does not mean anything. You can hit anything with a hammer, what are they implying, that no damage would result? If you hit a basketball with a hammer what would happen--the hammer would bounce off, goodie.

The idea that many North Americans have that inflatables are kinda like the little pool floaties they had as a kid is in error. A quality brand, Hypalon fabric inflatable is tough, almost like an automobile tire. That particular brand, probably not so much.
