Getting a T2i for Christmas .
Looking at the Aquatica housing.
I am a DSLR beginner and looking to do mostly wide angle stuff (great lakes wrecks etc) and video.

For pics, I have no strobe gear (will need to purchase) and have the choice of bulkhead setups with the Aquatica.

Should I go with the hybrid option (1 nikonos, 1 optical) or 2 Nikonos or 2 Optical.

Thanks
Andy

I would strongly recommend 2 optical. No shorts, TTL works great, no worries about hotshoe contacts to the strobe etc. etc. Most new strobes (including IKE) will be FO triggered.

To start, get the optical setup. As Bill said, very easy, TTL for free, nothing to flood.

As you advance, you may want to shoot with electrical sync cables in certain situations. It's nice to be able to switch from one to the other if needed.

Cheers,
Chris
