Long story, but I ended up getting two of these for Xmas. The return period is over so I can't return it, and just want to pass along a good deal to anyone looking to get a home NAS. Looking to get $150 plus shipping, or local pickup in Manassas, VA. Sold as-is.
This unit is absolutely brand new, still in original box and hasn't even been opened. I've been using the other unit and wish I had gotten this earlier. It has 2 bays and can be set up for RAID 0 or 1. Hard drives not included. It can be set up as a media server for music, video and photos, and personal cloud storage that allows access from the Internet. I use it to download torrents and stream movies to the tv.
