On the evening of the 17 March 2008 South Pacific Divers Club will be hosting an Introduction Talk and Display of Closed Circuit Rebreathers.

The night is an information night with Guest Speaker Barry Hallet of Southern Cross Divers giving you access to view the CCR units up close, to outline the advantages of CCR diving, costs involved, progression and development etc

Several units will be on display. The event will be followed by a try dive day for those whose interest is more than just an interest (inspo units)

The meeting will be at the Bankstown Sports Club at 8pm that evening and likely to go for 1 1/2 hours. Cost is free. We generally meet beforehand at the Station Restaurant inside the Club for a meal and catch up

so far these are the units that will be on display:

* Mk 15.5 biomarine
* APV Inspiration Vision
* APV Inspiration Classic
* APV Evolution
* Revo
* Kiss
* Meg
* a Home Build
* a sidemount home build rebreather.
and
* the current machined and completed pieces of the Rebreather Groups Build.

i dont believe sydney-siders have a opportunity like this (to have all these units in the one room) often so looking forward to a good night

all are welcomed
