Hello! I was diving with Dive Paradise in Cozumel on July 29. On July 29, I hung my bcd in front of the dive shop to dry. It was a Medium size women's mares BCD. I realize that it is a common model. My husband accidentally took the wrong bcd. He picked up an xs bcd. The next day, we notified the dive shop and put up a sign but no one claimed it. If you have my medium BCD, I have your XS one!

Good luck. Everyone puts on the pounds in Coz....

This may be another good reason to use a shop that handles all its customers' gear. If the shop screws up, you have someone to yell at.

Seems to me Paradise would at least be recieving an inquiry about this from the other affected party. Won't Paradise at least help with being the intermediary to help affected parties connect?

You'd think that would produce much better results than posting on ScubaBoard.

Better yet, as "Cozumel’s finest independent dive operator,", you'd think that someone in their office could figure out which other divers were using that particular gear storage area on the day the BCs were swapped and make some phone calls. Even a huge cattleboat op like DP should be able to narrow it down to the particular women who were diving on July 29 out of that particular shop and perhaps the DMs working the boats that day may be able to remember which of those women were extra small and narrow it down even further. From my experience, there are a limited number of extra-small women (or more likely a girl) diving in Cozumel :)

I once left my booties behind at my fav dive op in Belize. Upon my return, my booties were sitting up on the counter waiting for me. Now that's service!!
