Hello to all! Been lurking around a couple months and have already found a wealth of information. So why not participate!

I have no dive trips in view, but a friend is trying to get me to test the waters of lake Geneva where I live. That would be an interesting adventure (dark, cold...). So far i've only been diving in warmer waters with good vis (Egypt, Maldives, Thailand, Sardinia).

See you all in the forums....

welcome aboard

Well as for dark, cold diving adventures... bring a light for the darkness, and um, make your own, ahhhh, warmth :)

Hey...a genevois on the board....:-), I am not the only one! By the way, i have done the end of my advanced course in the lake, it was not too bad and a good opportunity to try something different...!!!But you must have a very thick wetsuit if you want to try it in winter..i get cold easily so for me i think that even a drysuit wouldn't be enough..i am now diving in the med with my new drysuit..and it is just perfect!

Give me some feedback about your impressions if you decided to have a go!:)
