Anyone catch the show "Swimming with Sea Monsters"? It was hosted by Nigel Marvin. The show mixed computer generated animals with actual diving to show what the seven most dangerous sea animals of all time would have been like.

It was a pretty interesting show. It had a giant shark, some huge armored fish, sea reptiles, a huge crocodile, a carnivorous whale, and a big predatory crustacean.

Yeah, I sorta watched it last night. Sorta because I was playing with the new laptop so I wasn't watching with full attention.

It was interesting, but it seemed geared more towards kids. The diving made me wistful. Nice mix of real and animation though.

The "prey" with one longer tusk was interesting. I am often amused when scientists "determine" why a species has evolved some specific characteristic. After all, there could be any number of other "reasons" for the evolution.

I thought they did an excellent job with some of the computer animation... I especially liked the sea scorpions!
