OK, I finally got rid of my Cobra and got a Vytec. :D

What is the latest wisdom about making a secure bungee wrist mount for the Vytec? The little watch-style pins that hold the strap on make me nervous.

Does Suunto make a kit for doing this or is this strictly a DIY?

Has anyone been able to bribe Tobin into making an Elastomeric Mount for this computer like his SK-7 compass mount? :eyebrow:

Try as I might, he has not committed to a Vytec mount. Dangitall.

I've been diving the Mo2-bungee for better than two years. Never a problem. This includes multiple unfortunate surf entries and exits, lots of rooting around in holes for lobster and all of the assorted donning, doffing and rinsing.

"Worrying" about the pins is overrated.

Thanks Ken. I'll look into copying your DIY for the time being.

Threadjacking my own thread :11:, I'm actually buying an SK-7 based on how slick Tobin's compass mount looks.

I got one of the first ones - totally simple to install, totally secure to mount and use. I love it.

We need to recruit more Vytec users to beat on the guy.
