Hi everyone.

I have a question that I hope one of you might answer.

I have 2 Suunto Stinger computers. One is titanium and one stainless steel.
The light in the titanium one has stoped working:(
My question is therefor:
Is it possible to swop the computer from one to the other? and how?
I have the bezel key to open the watch and I have noticed, last time I changed the battery, that there is a small screw holding the elctrical band in place.
Could I unscrew this and simply swop the two computers?

I didn't want to try my luck before asking here:)
Hope someone has the knowledge that I am missing:)

High five - scuba dive:)
Best regards and thank you
Casper

I would definitively say yes, you can swap the inner guts of your two Stingers. The screw you mention holds the electrical ribbon attached to the the pressure sensor. You will have to interchange not only the module but the ribbon that connects it to the pressure sensor. The pressure sensors will stay attached to the body of each computer. It´s tricky to remove the ribbon and attach it back again into the other computer pressure sensor but can be done if you have good hand skills. Only potential problem is that, maybe, I don´t know this for sure, Suunto calibrates (matches) each sensor to its respective electronic module in which case you might end up with two uncalibrated dive computers. Considering the risk, may I ask, why is so important the light to you?
